In just under a fortnight’s time, we will be exhibiting at the Conference and Hospitality Show 2017 in Leeds, and are looking forward to sharing our unique membership with event organisers and bookers from across the UK. To offer a taste of what visitors to the show can expect, we’ve come up with five reasons to visit stand G06 on 4th April 2017.
Unlock the individual…
From regal rarefication to contemporary cool, Unique Venues of London teems with variety and character. Whether its banquet amongst the quirky collections of hidden gems like Leighton House Museum and the Sir John Soane’s Museum or an atmospheric reception in the vaults of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, under the hull of Cutty Sark or beneath a Victorian pumping engine (London Museum of Water & Steam).
Grounds for celebration…
Verdant spaces abound within our membership, and there’s plenty of inspiration for summer celebration. From the fine topiary of Hampton Court Palace and the expansive, manicured parklands of Syon Park and Chiswick House and Gardens, to the more intimate courtyard of Gibson Hall and the rugged, natural beauty of WWT London Wetland Centre there’s no shortage of greenery in which to enjoy events al fresco.
Take a step back in time…
Our membership is certainly no stranger to a famous face. The who’s who of renowned individuals who have, over the years occupied and entertained within the walls of our membership is innumerable, with the likes of Winston Churchill (Harrow School) and Benjamin Franklin (Benjamin Franklin House) being just a few of the notable individuals who have graced our member venues.
Modern Masterpieces
Our membership also encompasses a host of the most cutting-edge architecture and design in the capital. World-famous landmarks such as the ArcelorMittal Orbit and the Coca-Cola London Eye sit alongside the unusual but enchanting Sky Garden and Lasden’s iconic National Theatre.
Always adding value
Aside from a wealth of venues which can cater to different requirements, many offer unusual and intriguing ‘added-value’ elements to their events within the building or in the immediate vicinity. This could be a backstage tour or a private viewing of a world-famous art collection. Certainly, there is plenty of inspiration for post-event hospitality with a wealth of entertainment that can be booked at the click of a button!
